Mountainfilm is a touring festival of short documentary films about the outdoors, adventure and the people who explore it. Watching them under the open sky by the lake at WaterColor suits the subject well. Early November usually brings cooler evenings here, so a light jacket or blanket is a good idea.
After a long time on 30A, I still think fall nights like these are some of the best of the year.
For owners, a weekend like this is a nice reason to be in town. It's also a good chance to see how much goes on along 30A after the summer crowds have gone home. If you're thinking about buying, events like this give you a real feel for the community in the quieter months, not just in peak season.
